These conferences are free half-day events designed to help employees better understand their TMRS benefits and make plans for their retirement. The programs also include a presentation by a Social Security expert. They are especially useful for members eligible for or considering retirement. TMRS provides a continental breakfast, and spouses are welcome to attend. We are planning to hold the following conferences in cities across the state:
Annual Seminars allow city administrators and decision-makers to network with TMRS staff and peers and keep abreast of TMRS changes and policies.
2012 Annual Seminar - Sugar Land
Last year's TMRS Annual Training Seminar, "TMRS Retirement Toolkit," was held Sunday, October 7 through October 9 at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square.
General Session Presentations
Training Track Presentations
Financial Presentations

We'll be glad to travel to your city — to speak with employees, city staff, or the city council. There is no cost to a city to have a TMRS representative visit!
Travel Team members are available for benefit fairs, employee meetings, and city council sessions on request. Cities may request a visit by contacting the Regional Manager, by calling TMRS at 800-924-8677, or by e-mailing Communications at TMRS.
