The December 31, 2012, Actuarial Valuation of TMRS, including city contribution rates for the year beginning January 1, 2014, is available here (173-page pdf). The section containing the rates is also available as a separate, smaller document (27-page pdf).
The TMRS staff and Board of Trustees regret the loss of Board member H. Frank Simpson, who passed away Saturday, April 27, in College Station. He had recently been named City Manager of College Station and had been a TMRS Trustee since 2003, serving as Board Chair in 2006 and 2012. Mr. Simpson had a distinguished career in city government. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Mr. Simpson’s leadership was instrumental in guiding many of the improvements in the System over the past decade, and he will be greatly missed.
