Joel Palmer is a Portfolio Manager for TMRS where he focuses on private market investments within Real Assets.
Prior to becoming an institutional investor, he spent the majority of his career working in the technology industry for Vrbo and HP spanning multiple business functions. Upon earning his MBA, he transitioned to a career as an investor by joining the private markets team at TMRS in 2022.
Joel holds an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University, an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and has passed Level I and II of the CFA Program.
