Beyond her professional role, April is deeply committed to supporting children and families impacted by pediatric cancer. The Courageous Claire holiday toy drive, a family-led effort supported by April’s husband, Rey, their sons, Logan and Gavin, her parents, L4 Cares, family, friends, and community supporters, has delivered more than 8,000 gifts to patients and siblings at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

April and her family also serve as Ambassadors for The Cure Starts Now Foundation and support L4 Cares, a nonprofit organization honoring children who have battled or are battling cancer.

April’s leadership is defined by resilience, compassion, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
