TMRS reserves the right to update our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use as needed. Your use of the website will be subject to the most current versions of these policies, which you can access via links at the bottom of pages throughout the website.

While we make every attempt to ensure the information provided on this website is reliable, human or mechanical error remains a possibility. Therefore, TMRS does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or correct sequencing of information, and will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the use of results obtained from the use of the information. This applies to any website linked to and from our site.

If there is a conflict between the information provided on our website and the laws and regulations governing the Texas Municipal Retirement System, the laws and regulations will govern our decisions, not the information on this website.

You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, which, together with your user ID, allows you to access your MyTMRS account information.

If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your online account information, you agree to notify us immediately by contacting TMRS. 

Confidentiality

Information contained in TMRS records concerning individual members, retirees, annuitants, or beneficiaries is confidential. You are encouraged to use secure means to access your information with TMRS to maintain its confidentiality. It is recommended that you do not use computers in public spaces to access your information.

We may provide links to other websites that may be useful or of interest to our users. The links are for informational purposes only, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement of any vendor, product or service. Please use caution when visiting these sites, as we cannot ensure they follow privacy and security practices similar to TMRS.

Estimates

Estimates assume that the laws and rules governing TMRS and the calculation of benefits do not change, that your employer makes no future plan provision changes, that all required contributions are made to TMRS, that no error corrections are made to your account, that TMRS continues to credit 5% interest to all members’ accounts, and that no changes are made to the actuarial factors used to calculate annuities.

Estimates assume that the variables and assumptions used to calculate your estimated annuity remain constant; including, but not limited to, laws and rules governing TMRS and the calculation of benefits, future plan provisions, required contributions are made to TMRS, error corrections, 5% annual interest credits to all members’ accounts, and the actuarial factors.
